You are on a dual carriageway or motorway. You have overtaken a car in the left lane beside you.
You want to move back into the left lane
What observations would you make before moving back into the left hand lane?

CENTRE & LEFT MIRRORS
AND LEFT BLINDSPOT

Watch the CENTRE mirror until you see the front of the vehicle you have overtaken.
You now have a safe 2 second gap before pulling back in front of them
Now check the LEFT mirror and LEFT BLINDSPOT to check you have not missed anything

Try to move into the left lane again promptly otherwise another car may move into the left lane before you.
This will make you manoeuvre more difficult to get back again
